State Police in the eastern part of the state were dealing with simultaneous crashes on Route 24 and Interstate 495 that closed lanes and caused delays Monday afternoon.By 3 p.m., all lanes had reopened and things were getting back to normal, according to police.At about 1:30 p.m., a jackknifed tractor-trailer in the southbound lane of Route 24 in the Norfolk County town of Avon blocked travel lanes, although motorists were allowed to use the breakdown lanes, police said.The crash, which didn't result in any injuries, caused a roughly 2-mile backup, State Police Tweeted.The other crash happened in the northbound lane of I-495 near Exit 21 in the Middlesex County town of Hopkinton, where two lanes were closed as crews removed a wrecked vehicle from the scene.The car sustained serious damage, but it wasn't immediately clear if anyone was hospitalized as a result of the crash.
