Franklin, ME : Subaru : 26-year-old woman critically injured in rollover crash on Route 200 in Franklin early Saturday morning, January 9, 2016

A 26-year-old woman was injured critically Friday night when the car she was driving rolled over into a ditch off Route 200, according to Maine State Police.

Elizabeth Miller of Franklin, who was alone in the car, was unresponsive and had a weak pulse when emergency personnel arrived, Lt. Roderick Charette said in a news release issued early Saturday morning. Miller was taken by LifeFlight to Eastern Maine Medical Center.

Miller remained in critical condition Saturday, according to a nursing supervisor at EMMC.

The accident was reported about 9:11 p.m. Friday by a homeowner on Route 200 in Franklin.

Miller apparently was traveling east on Route 200 in a 2010 Subaru, the release said. As she approached a corner at the top of a hill, she drifted off the right side of the road and into a snow covered ditch.

The car vaulted onto a private driveway and back down into another ditch, the release said. That caused the Subaru to roll onto its roof.

Miller was not wearing a seat belt, Charette said in the release.

Troopers continue to investigate to determine whether speed or alcohol were factors in the crash.
