Delavan, WI : 83-year-old Bloomfield man died in a two-vehicle crash on Highway F in Walworth County on Thursday, Nov 26, 2015

An 83-year-old Village of Bloomfield man was killed Thanksgiving Day in a two-vehicle crash in the Town of Delavan, Walworth County Sheriff's Captain Dave Gerber said.

Richard Lewandowski was pronounced dead at the scene on Highway F at Mound Road.

Around 11 a.m. Thursday, a vehicle driven by Lewandowski pulled out from a stop sign on Mound Road directly into the path of a cargo van northbound on Highway F, Gerber said.

The 26-year-old driver of the van, Ryan Bjelland of Elkhorn, suffered minor injuries.

The drivers were the only occupants of their respective vehicles.
