HICKORY, NC : 61-year-old woman killed in Hickory crash; driver charged on Monday, 25th January 2021

A 61-year-old woman was killed in a wreck at about 1:30 p.m. Monday in Hickory and the driver of another vehicle has been charged with DWI.

Leisa Glenn White died at the scene of the crash on Highway 70 SE, Hickory police said.

Aaron Lee Walker, 26, of Newton, crossed into the opposite lane hitting White’s vehicle.
