Meriden,CT : Two injured, one hospitalized after car strikes pole in Southington on February, Wednesday 7th 2018
Two people were injured after a car struck a utility pole on Wednesday.
Southington Battalion Chief James Paul Jr. said firefighters were called to the intersection of Chestnut Street and Main Street about 5 p.m. Two people were injured and one person was taken to the hospital.
Paul said the pole was broken at the base, prompting the fire department to close the intersection to traffic. Additional details were not immediately available. The road was reopened around 7 p.m., however the pole awaits repair.
