Fall River, MA : Two injured when car crashes off Fall River overpass on Sunday night, August 3, 2014

Fall River police are investigating a late-night crash that injured two people when their car fell 30 to 40 feet from an overpass onto a set of abandoned railroad tracks below. Police say a Mercedes-Benz crashed through a guardrail on the Ferry Street Bridge and fell onto the tracks late Sunday night. Witnesses told authorities the driver failed to make the turn from Ponta Delgata Boulevard onto Ferry Street. The victims' names and conditions haven't been released.
