Lowell, OR : La Pine woman escapes SUV after crash before it burst into flames along Highway 58 near Lowell on Monday morning, May 9, 2016

A 24-year-old La Pine woman escaped from her sport utility vehicle Monday morning relatively unharmed before the vehicle burst into flames on Highway 58 near Lowell, Ore­gon State Police said.

According to fire and medic dispatch logs, the accident was reported at 6:39 a.m.

Authorities said Jessie L. Shader was traveling east when her 1995 GMC left the road and rolled over multiple times.

The SUV caught fire, but Shader got out on her own before flames engulfed the vehicle, police said.

Shader was taken to the emergency room at McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center in Springfield for treatment of minor injuries, troopers said.

The suspected cause of the accident was not immediately released.
