Princeton ,NJ :Fatal collision injures Cynthia Veitch, 36, Of New Mexicoon Monday ,June 29th 2015

A woman from New Mexico had to be cut out of her wrecked car after another motorist struck her vehicle head-on after crossing over the center lines of Bunn Drive, police said.

Cynthia Veitch, 36, of Rio Rancho, N.M. was injured in the 6:30 p.m. crash Monday. She was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton after being freed by Princeton firefighters and rescue squad members.

Princeton police said Tuesday that a car operated by Guatomi Chakrabarty, 36, of Scarlet Oak Drive in Princeton was traveling east on Bunn Drive and crossed over the center lines and collided with Veitch's westbound car near North Harrison Street.

Chakrabarty sustained lower body pain, but refused medical attention at the scene, police said.

Princeton police said the accident is under investigation and charges are pending against Chakrabarty.
