COUNCIL BLUFFS, IA : Two 17-year-olds killed in western Iowa crash on Friday, 22nd November, 2019
Authorities have released the names of both people killed in a collision just southeast of Council Bluffs in western Iowa.
The crash happened just before 1:30 p.m. Friday. Deputies say an eastbound pickup truck collided with a westbound vehicle on the same road, killing the two people inside the smaller vehicle.
The Pottawattamie County Sheriff's Office has identified the two victims as Michael Bent and Floyd Quick. Both were 17 and lived in Council Bluffs.
The occupants of the pickup were treated for minor injuries at the scene.
