Leesburg man killed in Key Bridge crash

A Leesburg man was killed and two other Leesburg residents were injured in a high-speed, single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning near the Key Bridge in Arlington.

The wreck happened around 5 a.m. near the Key Bridge Marriott. Just as the vehicle came off the Key Bridge into Arlington, it struck a curb in the median and rolled about five times before coming to rest in some bushes, Arlington County Police Department spokesperson Dustin Sternbeck said Monday.

Sam Ullah, 21, of Leesburg was driving the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.The two passengers were seriously injured. The passenger in the backseat was ejected from the car and remains in a medically induced coma at George Washington University hospital. The front seat passenger also remains hospitalized.
