Orlando, FL : Man injured in hit-and-run moped crash on Colonial Drive at Forsyth Road early Wednesday, October 12, 2016
State troopers have identified the Orlando man who was critically injured in a hit-and-run moped crash early Wednesday.
Clarence Gordon Hadler, 64, was driving east on Colonial Drive at Forsyth Road about 4:40 a.m. when a car rear-ended his moped, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Hadler was thrown off and taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
The car sped away from the crash, troopers said.
A few hours later troopers found a 2006 white Honda Accord with a damaged windshield, FHP Sgt. Kim Montes said. They believe it was in the car involved in the crash, though they have not made any arrests in the case.
