Cotton Plant, AR : Three men killed after vehicle goes airborne in central Arkansas highway crash on Saturday, July 26, 2014
Authorities have identified the three men killed in a single-vehicle wreck in north-central Arkansas.
Arkansas State Police say the crash happened Saturday on Arkansas 38 west of Cotton Plant. According to a preliminary report, a car driven by 24-year-old Clarence Harris of Scott went off the road and struck a concrete culvert.
The car then went airborne and struck an electrical pole. Harris was pronounced dead at the scene along with his two passengers, 23-year-old Rodney Burrell and 24-year-old Jerrold Cross, both of Little Rock.
State police say the car was traveling at a high rate of speed before the crash.
