Chico, CA : DUI alleged in five-car crash in Chico on February, Thursday 22nd 2018

The busy intersection of Mangrove and Vallombrosa avenues was closed for two hours Thursday night after an allegedly intoxicated driver ran a red light and hit four other cars. According to Chico police, just after 5 p.m. Thursday Phillip Wampler, 30, of Willows, was westbound on Vallombrosa at between 40 and 50 mph.
