Two people were taken to the hospital Saturday night after a four-car rollover crash in Boardman.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol said it happened along US 224 and Market Street in front of Walgreens around 10:45 p.m.

A Nissan Altima, driven by 25-year-old Tyjuan Daltorio of Campbell, was traveling northbound and ran a red light at the Market Street and US 224 intersection.

A 2006 Chevy Impala, driven by 35-year-old Donti Kennedy of Youngstown, was traveling northbound on Market Street from US 224.

A Chevy Malibu, driven by 18-year-old Malikque Garrett-Robbins of Youngstown, was traveling southbound on Market Street and stopped at the US 224 intersection.

A 2015 Chevy Impala, driven by 18-year-old Avion Willis of Youngstown, was also traveling southbound on Market Street, stopping directly behind the Malibu.

According to a media release, Daltorio’s car hit Kennedy’s car, causing it to flip over onto its roof. Daltorio then hit Garrett-Robbins’ car, which was then pushed backwards into Willis’ car.

Daltorio and Kennedy were taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Daltorio was cited for OVI, reckless operation and not wearing a seat belt. Boardman police said marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found in one of the cars.

The northbound lanes had to be closed as officials cleared the scene.
