High speed a factor in deadly Bowie County wreck in Idaho

One person died in a one-car wreck in Bowie County, Texas Saturday afternoon.The crash happened on U.S. 82 around 4:50 p.m.The Texas Department of Public Safety says Mark Anthony Burns, 27, of Nampa, Idaho, was driving his 2010 Chevrolet Camaro at a high rate of speed. He left the road, hit several stumps and overturned, troopers said.
Burns was airlifted to St. Michael's Hospital in Texarkana. He was pronounced dead at 11:02 p.m. His body was sent to the medical examiner's office in Dallas.A passenger, Raven Brooke Wax, 32, of Waco, Texas, was seriously injured in the wreck. She was airlifted to LSU Hospital in Shreveport. She is currently listed in serious but stable condition.Both people were wearing their seat belts.
