Goshen, IN : A Mishawaka man was killed in a head-on automobile crash on Tuesday, November, 21st 2017

A Mishawaka man was killed in a head-on automobile crash Tuesday morning.

According to Elkhart County police, Malik Morgan, 46, Mishawaka, was driving a 2014 Dodge Challenger west on Old U.S. 33, west of Elk Park Drive, as a 2011 Volvo tractor-trailer driven by Trinidad Faulcon, 48, New Castle, Delaware, was traveling east on U.S. 33. Police said Morgan's vehicle swerved into the westbound land where it collided with the tractor-trailer head-on and caught fire.

Morgan died at the scene as a result of the crash. Faulcon was transported to Elkhart General Hospital for complaint of shoulder pain. The crash is still under investigation by the Elkhart County Crash Investigation Team. No traffic enforcement wast taken at the scene.
