Cass County, TX : Vehicle crash sends Naytahwaush man to hospital on Wednesday, 10th October 2018

A 54-year-old Naytahwaush man was injured Wednesday, Oct. 10, when he lost control of his passenger car and crashed it into a tree in Cass County.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported Edward W. Blomseth was driving a Chevrolet Cavalier north of Highway 371, when it lost control on a curve at Sautbine Road in Shingobee Township, and slid into a tree. Blomseth was transported to Sanford Health in Bemidji with life-threatening injuries.


The state patrol reported alcohol was involved in the crash reported at 1:34 p.m.

The road conditions were wet at the time of the crash.
