An Abbeville woman died Saturday morning in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Reeves Street and Grey Hodges Road.
Denise Carter, 44, died in the collision that happened shortly after 7 a.m., Houston County Coroner Robert Byrd said.
According to a statement from the Dothan Police Department, a 1991 Honda Accord traveling east on West Grey Hodges Road entered Reeves Street into the path of a 2014 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup traveling southbound. Upon colliding with the Dodge, the driver of the Honda Accord was ejected from the vehicle.
The truck struck the front of the car on the driver's side, according to Byrd.
The driver of the Honda Accord and the occupants of the Dodge Ram were transported to a local hospital. The driver of the Honda, who Byrd said was taken to Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, has been listed in critical but stable condition.
