IRMO, SC : Man killed in single-car crash on I-26 on Sunday, November 13th 2016

A 21-year-old man died in a single-car crash Sunday morning on I-26.

It happened near mile marker 99 and Koon Road in Irmo around 5 a.m. The Richland County Coroner says Darryl Devante Johnson, 21, was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene.

Highway Patrol officers say Johnson ran off the road, overcorrected, then ran off the other side of the road and hit a tree.
