Baltimore, MD : Motorcyclist injured in Thursday crash on September 18, 2014
The motorcyclist who was injured in a car crash Thursday remains in serious condition at Baltimore's R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, according to the University of Maryland Medical Center.
John Cohill, of Hancock, was driving the motorcycle that crashed with a car on I-70 near the I-270 interchange a little after 5:30 a.m., according to Elena Russo, a spokeswoman for Maryland State Police.
Cohill was flown to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center for treatment and remained there as of Friday afternoon. The extent of his injuries could not be provided due to privacy laws, said Karen Lancaster, UMD Medical Center's director of media relations and corporate communications.
Russo said she did not know the cause of the crash or whether drugs or alcohol were involved.
