Dodgeville, WI : Man injured in two-vehicle crash on Highway 18 in Iowa County on sunday, Aug 30, 2015

A man was airlifted after a crash in Iowa County.

Deputies were called to Highway 18 and County Road Q west of Dodgeville at 1:56 p.m. Sunday for a report of a two-vehicle crash.

Investigators said Gerald Gilberston, 88, of rural Avoca, was driving his truck on Survey Road when he failed to stop at the intersection of Highway 18 and County Road Q.

Breanna White, 24, of Chicago, was driving eastbound and could not avoid hitting Gilbertson's truck, according to the release.

Gilbertson was airlifted to UW Hospital in Madison. White and a passenger in her car were taken to Upland Hills Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Gilbertson's condition is unknown.

White and her passenger were both wearing seat belts.

Alcohol and speed were not contributing factors in this crash.
