Tallahassee, FL : Woman, 60, dead in Christmas crash on Saturday, November 26th 2016

A 60-year-old woman was killed in a crash after she was thrown from her motorcycle Saturday in Christmas, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Brenda Heckle was driving east on Colonial Drive on her 1976 motorcycle about 3:40 p.m. when she slowed down near Saint Nicholas Avenue.

William Crawford, 39, who was driving behind her in a GMC pickup, didn't slow down and plowed into the back of her bike, causing her to fly off, highway patrol Sgt. Kim Montes said.

Heckle, of Christmas, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Crawford, of Titusville, had minor injuries but was not hospitalized.
