A pedestrian was struck and killed by a driver along Highway 224 Wednesday evening.

Deputies are on the scene of the crash, and report SE Highway 224 will be blocked between 197th and 232nd. There is no estimated time for reopening.

The pedestrian's identity hasn't been released, nor has the cause of the crash.
