Scottsdale, AZ : Motorcyclist died in vehicle crash Loop 101 On Friday morning, August 21 2015
A motorcyclist died Friday morning after slamming into a vehicle that had just been involved in a minor crash on Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) in Scottsdale.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, two vehicles were involved in a rear-end collision near Chaparral Road.
As those vehicles were stopped, a motorcyclist traveling at a high rate of speed slammed into the back of one of the cars.
The motorcyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead. The occupants of the vehicles were not injured.
Loop 101 northbound has reopened at Loop 202, according to an email sent at around 10:40 a.m. by the Arizona Department of Transportation.
