A Robeson County man has been arrested in a weekend wreck that killed three members of a Hoke County family.
The North Carolina Highway Patrol told local media outlets that the two-vehicle wreck happened south of Raeford late Friday.
Troopers say 43-year-old Jamie Oxendine, his 40-year-old wife Mary Anny and 17-year-old son Austin all died in the wreck.
Troopers said 29-year-old Rodolfo Marin Vela of St. Pauls ran a stop sign and hit Oxendine's car.
Vela has been charged with driving while impaired, reckless driving, three counts of felony death by vehicle, a stop sign violation, failure to have a driver's license, a seat belt violation, an open container of alcohol, and traveling too fast for conditions.
It was not clear if Vela has a lawyer.
