Greeley, CO : Two people injured in Head-on collision north of Platteville on Sunday, July 17, 2016
Two people were seriously hurt Sunday morning in a head-on collision north of Platteville, the Weld County Sheriff’s Office reported.
The crash occurred about 7:50 a.m. near Colo. 60 and Weld County Road 38, which is about three miles north of Platteville, according to Cpl. Matt Turner of the sheriff’s office.
One patient, a 72-year-old man, was airlifted to North Colorado Medical Center. An ambulance took the second patient to NCMC, as well. No description for the second patient was available, Turner wrote in an email.
The crash involved a blue Honda Pilot and a silver Honda Civic. Colo. 60 was closed during the incident and reopened shortly after.
The crash is still under investigation.
