Nampa, ID : 79-year-old pedestrian injured in Nampa crash on Monday, 29th April 2019
Nampa Police responded to Second Street South and 22nd Avenue South at 6:14 a.m. Monday to find a Nampa man was hit by a red Ford passenger vehicle driven by a 32-year-old Nampa man, according to police.The driver was heading west on Second Street South when the pedestrian was hit, but it's unclear where the pedestrian was when the collision happened. The 79-year-old pedestrian was taken to Saint Alphonsus, according to police.
Police do not believe drugs, alcohol or a cellphone were factors in the crash. The driver, who cooperated with police, has not been issued a citation.
There were no witnesses to the crash at the scene. If anyone did witness the incident, they're asked to contact Nampa Officer Deran Watt at 208-936-1494.
