Galveston, TX : 31-year-old man dies in motorcycle accident in League City on Monday morning, February 27, 2017

A 31-year-old man died Monday morning when his motorcycle and a passenger van collided in League City, police said.

League City police officers responded to the two-vehicle accident in the 1300 block of East FM 646 about 4:30 a.m. Monday.

The motorcycle was traveling west on East FM 646 when it collided with a passenger vehicle that was turning into the intersection of East FM 646 and South FM 270, police said.

Emergency responders took the motorcycle driver to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Police have not identified the man.

An accident reconstruction team is investigating the accident, police said.
