Sunnyside , WA : One man was sstruck and killed while he was walking in the middle of Highway 241 on Sunday , January 25th 2015

The Washington State Patrol says the fog before dawn Sunday was a factor in the death of a man who was walking in the middle of Highway 241 near Sunnyside.

The driver didn't see 67-year-old Juan Gutierrez who was fatally injured.

State Trooper Erik Magnussen tells the patrol is asking drivers to slow down and be especially cautions in the fog.
