Man dead from Polk County motorcycle accident

A Missouri man has died after a motorcycle wreck on U.S. 71 on Saturday afternoon in Polk County, authorities said.
The accident occurred at 12:41 p.m. in dry and clear conditions, according to a preliminary Arkansas State Police report.
Charles P. Warrick, 65, of El Dorado Springs, was traveling north on U.S. 71 in a 2013 Honda motorcycle when he lost control of the vehicle and it veered to the left, crossing into the highway's southbound lane, the report states.Officials said Warrick's motorcycle flipped onto its side, skidded on the highway and that Warrick was thrown off from the motorcycle. He was taken to a hospital in Mena.
It was not immediately what caused Warrick to lose control of his motorcycle. His death marks the 376th fatality in traffic accidents on Arkansas roads this year, according to preliminary reports.
