Pamlico County, NC : New Bern man died early Tuesday morning in a single-car crash on August 26th 2014

A New Bern man died early Tuesday morning in a single-car crash in Pamlico County. The North Carolina Highway Patrol said that Tracy Andrew Popperwill, 48, died at about 1:10 a.m. when his car ran off a road and overturned. The patrol said Popperwill was driving a 2003 Ford passenger car, which was traveling west on Kershaw Road, near Scott’s Store. According to the report, he traveled left of center and continued off the road to the left. His vehicle struck a ditch and overturned, ejecting the victim from the car. Trooper S.M.
