Terre Haute,IN : One dead, one hurt after crash on U.S. 50 on November, Thursday 30th 2017

A Bridgeport, Illinois, woman was injured and a West York, Illinois, man was killed in a two-vehicle accident about 4:45 a.m. Thursday on U.S. 50 about a mile east of Illinois 1 in Lawrence County, Illinois.

Illinois State Police said a Jeep Wrangler driven by Alicia D. Stephens, 22 of Bridgeport, was westbound on U.S. 50 when it crossed the center line and struck an eastbound Chevrolet pickup truck driven by Rodney S. Stephens, 38, of West York.

Rodney Stephens was killed in the collision.

Alicia Stephens was taken to Lawrence County Hospital and then flown to St. Vincent in Evansville, Indiana.

Illinois State Police said Alicia Stephens faces charges of improper lane usage, driving under the influence of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, and no insurance.
