Cincinnati ,OH : Man seriously injured in motorcycle crash on Saturday morning ,July 25th 2015

A man is in critical condition after he was ejected from a motorcycle in a crash early Saturday morning.

Joseph Martini, 22, was thrown from his 1984 Honda Gold Wing motorcycle when he lost control on westbound I-74 near Montana Avenue, police said.

Martini crossed two lanes of the roadway before he was ejected and the motorcycle crashed into a guard rail, police said.

Martini was not wearing a helmet and sustained life-threatening injuries. He was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and is in critical condition, police said.

Excessive speed and impairment appear to be factors in the crash, police said.
