Rainier ,OR : 26-Years old Heather Robison Killed and her two Children injured after hree Vehicle Crash on Monday morning ,May 4 2015

A 26-year-old woman died and her two children were injured in a three-vehicle crash on Highway 30, the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office said.

The crash happened at about 10 a.m. Monday near milepost 44, which is near the highway's intersection with Little Jack Falls and Lindberg Roads.

Heather Robison of St. Helens died in the crash, the sheriff's office said. Her 6-year-old and 1-year-old sons were taken to a hospital. They are in stable condition, according to the sheriff's office.

A driver of another car, 20-year-old Kierstin Merila of Warrenton, was also taken to the hospital.

The crash left one car totaled in the middle of the highway and two others off to the side of the road in a ditch.

The highway was closed for about 7 1/2 hours and was reopened just after 5:30 p.m.
