Teen killed in crash Near Thompsons Tennessee

A teenager was killed Sunday afternoon when the car she was driving crashed on Interstate 40.Tennessee Highway Patrol reports indicate Hannah A. Crews, 18, of Thompson Station, was ejected from her vehicle and fatally injured in the crash.
It happened around the 261 mile marker at 3:13 p.m.
Sunday.Reports state Crews was driving a Toyota Avalon eastbound in the far left lane of the interstate when she traveled off the left side of the roadway into the median, made impact with a guardrail, went airborne and the vehicle overturned into the westbound lane.

The vehicle proceeded off the north side of the westbound lanes and down an embankment, coming to a final rest facing south.According to reports, Crews was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.
