Lubbock,TX : DPS investigates tractor-trailer vs. recreational vehicle crash in Lubbock County on October, Thursday 12th 2017

A tractor-trailer vs. recreational vehicle crash disrupted traffic along U.S. Highway 84 but resulted in no injuries Thursday afternoon in Southeast Lubbock County.

The crash was reported about 1 p.m. on U.S. 84 near FM 835, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Investigators believe the tractor-trailer was eastbound on U.S. 84 when the RV failed to yield the right of way while attempting to turn east onto the highway from FM 835, causing the collision.

The driver of the RV, 74-year-old Charles Edward Hodgkins of Ransom Canyon, was not injured.

The driver of the tractor trailer, 50-year-old Michael Dwain Kirby of Rice, was not injured.
