Raphine,VA : Staunton River High School student dies, three injured in Campbell County wreck on April, Tuesday 3rd 2018

A 16-year-old Bedford County girl died Tuesday after being ejected from a vehicle in Campbell County, state police said.

Victoria Diehl was a 10th-grader at Staunton River High School, according to Bedford County schools spokesman Ryan Edwards. Counselors will be on hand next week when students return from break, he said.

“Victoria was an outstanding young lady and proud Golden Eagle. Our condolences and deepest sympathy go out to Victoria’s family and friends,” Edwards said.
