Eleven people were injured in a crash involving two school buses near uptown Charlotte on Monday morning, according to Medic.
The accident happened just before 9 a.m. on S. Tryon Street at Clanton Road. Myers Park Traditional School bus 1529 had 28 students on board and Lincoln Heights Academy bus 1745 had three students on board, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools.
Medic took nine students on bus 1529 and the bus driver and monitor of bus 1745 to Carolinas Medical Center, all with minor injuries.
Two Medic units responded to the scene. Officials have not said how the accident happened.
