ELKHART COUNTY, IN : 19-year-old in critical condition after crash involving semi-trailer in Elkhart County on Wednesday, 13th November 2024

A 19-year-old man is in critical condition after police say his vehicle crashed into a semi-trailer early this morning.

The crash happened just after 1 a.m. at the intersection of County Road 21 and U.S. 20.

Deputies say the 19-year-old was heading south on County Road 21 in a 2022 Chevrolet Malibu when it collided with a trailer being pulled by a 2005 Peterbilt Semi that was heading west on U.S. 20.

The driver of the Chevrolet, a 19-year-old Goshen man, was taken to the hospital with apparent internal injuries that are said to be life-threatening.
