Columbus, OH : Terry E. Turner, 44, killed in Logan County crash on Monday morning, March 6, 2017

A Columbus man was killed Monday morning when his car crashed head-on into a tractor-trailer on Route 68 in Rushcreek Township, northeast Logan County.

Terry E. Turner, 44, who lived on the Northwest Side, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The State Highway Patrol said Turner was driving south on Route 68 shortly before 8:30 a.m. when he crossed the centerline and struck a northbound tractor-trailer driven by Justin M. Samples, 30, of Hamilton.

Samples was treated and released. The crash is still under investigation.
