Waseca County, MN : 20-year-old Mankato woman and a 66-year-old Janesville man suffering injuries following a crash Tuesday morning south of Janesville on September 23, 2014
A Mankato woman airlifted to a Rochester hospital following a crash Tuesday morning is in fair condition, according to a spokesperson at St. Mary's hospital.
A report by the Minnesota State Patrol said 20-year-old Grace Drummer sustained serious injuries after her 2002 Ford Explorer collided with a semi.
The crash took place about 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of County Road 2 and County Road 3 south of Janesville. According to the report, Drummer was traveling eastbound on County Road 2 when it struck a northbound semi driven by Eugene Johnson, 66, of Janesville.
Waseca County Sheriff's Deputy Jay Dulas said Tuesday morning that Johnson had been taken by ambulance to an area hospital. The report said Johnson's injuries were not life-threatening and that he was not transported.
Both were reportedly wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash.
The cause of the wreck remains under investigation.
