Glendale, WI : Authorities work to clear the scene of a crash Tuesday morning that closed I-43 southbound on August 12th 2014

I-43 southbound reopened at Good Hope Road in Glendale about 7:20 a.m. Tuesday after a traffic crash had closed all lanes earlier in the morning, according to the state Department of Transportation. One person was extricated from the crash, and the freeway was closed until that person was taken to an ambulance, North Shore Fire/Rescue reported. The crash closed the lanes about 6:40 a.m. and delays of more than three miles were reported by the state Department of Transportation just before 7 a.m. The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash.
