Fort Worth, TX : Two people injured after SUV crashes into Fort Worth school bus on Wednesday morning, March 18, 2015

Officials say two people were sent to the hospital after a sport utility vehicle ran a red light and crashed into a Fort Worth school bus. The one student aboard the bus wasn't injured.

MedStar officials say a person in the SUV was seriously injured in the Wednesday morning accident and was taken to a local hospital. Officials say the bus driver was taken to a hospital for observation.

Fort Worth fire Battalion Chief Richard Harrison says the student was the driver's first pickup of the day.

Fort Worth school district spokesman Clint Bond said the seventh-grader on the bus was picked up by a parent and taken to school.

The school bus was pushed into a parking lot, where it knocked over small concrete pylons and brushed a building.
