BIRMINGHAM, AL : 10-year-old dies in multi-vehicle crash in Birmingham over the weekend on Saturday, 7th September 2024

A crash over the weekend claimed the life of a young girl in Birmingham.

Tia Williams, of Birmingham, was a passenger when the vehicle she was in crashed on Interstate 59 near Oporto Madrid Boulevard.

The crash happened shortly after 1 p.m. Saturday.

She was transported to UAB Hospital where she later died from her injuries.
