Stafford, CT : 45-year-old Mark Lambert killed in rollover crash in Connecticut on Monday, August 29, 2016

A Connecticut man was killed after the car he was driving hit an embankment before flipping over.

State police say the crash happened around 11:30 p.m. Monday on Route 32 in Stafford.

Police say the vehicle being driven by 45-year-old Mark Lambert, of Rockville, crossed the center line, traveled into the lane shoulder and hit an embankment. The vehicle then flipped over and hit a utility pole.

Lambert was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other injuries were reported. The crash remains under investigation.

Stafford is located in northern Connecticut, a few miles from the Massachusetts border.
