A crash closed a stretch of Interstate 85 in west Mecklenburg County and sent two people to the the hospital Tuesday morning.
It happened around 8 a.m. on I-85 southbound between Exits 29, Sam Wilson Road, and Exit 30, Interstate-485. The lanes reopened around 8:40 a.m.
Medic took one person to Carolinas Medical Center with serious injuries and another person to CMC-Pineville with minor injuries.
There's no word on what caused the crash or how many vehicles were involved.
