ROCK ISLAND, IL : Driver crashes car into Rock Island residence early morning police investigating on Sunday, 21st July 2024

Police are investigating after a driver crashed their car into a residence early Sunday morning in Rock Island, according to Chief of Police Timothy McCloud.

The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. on July 21. McCloud said there were no witnesses, but officials believe the driver had lost control and struck a residence in the 4400 block of 14th Avenue. He added that the vehicle's occupants had fled the scene prior to officers arriving.
