A Derby woman has died in a one car crash in Orleans County.

State Police say Danielle Carpenter, 26, was traveling north on Interstate 91 Monday morning when her car went off the highway in Coventry.

Police say Carpenter’s vehicle crossed the rumble strips in the passing lane and traveled into the median where it flipped over.

Police say Carpenter died at the scene just after 6 a.m. Monday. The crash remains under investigation.
