JANESVILLE, WI : 1 dead after two-car crash in Janesville on Wednesday, 31st July 2019

The Janesville Police Department says a 38-year-old man is dead after a fatal crash Wednesday morning in Janesville.

Janesville police were called to a traffic crash with injury at Holiday Dr. and Kennedy Rd. at 8:49 a.m.

The incident report said it was a two-car accident, with one car in operation and one legally parked.

Police said the man was traveling west on Holiday Dr., passing Sherwood Dr. in his car. The man's car crashed directly into the back of a parked SUV on the northwest side of the roadway near the intersection.

The victim was found dead and pinned in his vehicle at the crash, according to the incident report.

Officials say there is additional information being followed up on to determine factors that led to the crash.
