ASHEBORO, NC : Asheboro man dies in head-on DWI crash on Loflin Pond Rd on Tuesday, 11th June 2024

A man is dead after a car crash in Randolph County on Tuesday, June 11, according to the NC State Highway Patrol.

Fernando Avalos Lopez, 49, was driving north on Loflin Pond Road attempting to make a left turn onto Foxworth Road, troopers said.

Jeffrey Eugene Allen, 49, was stopped at the stop sign on Foxworth Road.
